Sakshee Singh, an early-career development professional, is an ardent researcher focused on sustainability, education, development policy, and advocacy, particularly in South Asia. A proficient communications expert, she is drawn to the realm of communication for development (C4D).

During her time in Nepal, Sakshee collaborated with many development agencies and government stakeholders, gleaning invaluable insights into Nepal's development trajectory. Among her numerous assignments, Sakshee worked with the World Bank Nepal on Green, Resilient, and Inclusive Development (GRID) roundtable discussions and high-level events. Her partnership with GIZ on the Green Resilient Agricultural Productive Ecosystems (GRAPE) program involved organizing discussion sessions on Organic Farming and Smart Agriculture in far-west Nepal. Additionally, Sakshee contributed to research and writing of the Inclusive Growth Framework section of the Nepal Financial Inclusion Report 2023, a project supported by United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) and IFC.

Before her tenure at Nepal Economic Forum, Sakshee was part of the core team of Indian School of Public Policy's Communications and Academic division. There, she offered support to ISPP's Communication and Learning Lab and assisted esteemed professors in conducting lectures on Gender, Urbanisation, Environment, Advocacy, and Development Policy. Beyond her professional pursuits, Sakshee is deeply committed to volunteering her time, actively working with charities in India and the United Kingdom that focus on empowering women and girl children through education in middle and low-income developing countries.

Sakshee's academic journey includes a Bachelor of Geography with a minor in political science from Miranda House, Delhi University; and a Master of Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
